Ugh, all these posers suddenly wanting to jump on the bandwagon -_-;
You can tell they were posers especially when they were all in shock when ********** had died. They were all like "OMG I can't believe he DIED! *sobs* How could that have happened?!" Whereas if you had actually followed the novel series you would've sensed it long ago and why he died when he did.
I also overheard one of the workers there talking that they haven't had a line THAT long in years which is very true. Koori and I have been going to the HP premieres since the third movie and it has NEVER been even close to as crazy and disorganized as the Half-Blood Prince premiere.
They originally had planned to open only 12 screens for the premiere but in the end they had to change the remaining four screens to HP just so they could fit everybody who bought tickets.
Koori, Chiba, Jacky and I were VERY VERY lucky we had found seats where we could all sit together, even with us showing up just one hour before the movie was supposed to start ><
But like I said earlier, despite all the HP posers we all had a great time. We had front row seats so Koori could ogle her beloved Snape/Alan Rickman whenever he took up the screen ^^
She's so cute~
And for my last remaining thought is of course, the upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie.
As I had mentioned in my previous journal entry, MIA WASIKOWSKA IS GOING TO BE ALICE, NOT ANNE HATHAWAY. Hathaway is going to be the White Queen.
If you're gonna lie about something at least get your facts straight.
If you had really known about the new Alice movie, you would've known people on the internet have been talking about it since 2007 but nothing official was made until late 2008-2009 since Tim Burton was looking for an unknown actress to play Alice, not an already well-known celebrity like Anne Hathaway.
I utterly detest poser epic fails, who dedicate their entire lives on one-upping just because they made themselves miserable, can't let go of the the past even if their lives depended on it, and will continue to hold on to their unjustified grudges and resentment until the day they die.
But as for the movie itself, the first official promo pics have been released on some of the Alice characters!

Thank you Koori for finding this ^^
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll is an upcoming fantasy horror film by Marilyn Manson with Geoffrey Cox and Anthony de Silva.
It is directed by Marilyn Manson as part of his Celebritarian Corporation art movement, and is his directorial debut as a feature filmmaker. It is being produced by Blue Light for Wild Bunch and has estimated budget of $4,200,000. In the leading roles are Marilyn Manson as Lewis Carroll, English model Lily Cole as Alice, Golden Globe-nominated actress Evan Rachel Wood as Alice's alter ego and Academy Award-winning British actress Tilda Swinton as Lewis Carroll's dream wife.
Synopsis:
"Victorian England.
A haunted writer in an isolated castle is tormented by sleepless nights and visions of a girl named Alice. He finds himself becoming a symptom of his own invention.
Now all my nightmares know my name.
He is Lewis Carroll. Terrified of what waits for him each night."
The film is set to be released in 2010.

This movie is a more dark and twisted tale focused on Lewis Carroll himself rather than the Alice he created and was renowned for.
An eerie and demented interpretation of Alice and her creator...
Sounds very interesting~
I can see why Koori is highly anticipating this movie more than Tim Burton's version, even though Alan Rickman will be playing the Caterpillar in this film ^^

Okay, I'm getting quite irritated with all these "rumors" with the whole "Ville MIGHT be in a duet song for Tim Burton's Alice movie but nothing's been confirmed or denied blah blah" crap.
The movie's due next March and STILL no definite yes or no answer?
If it's actually true that's very irresponsible for a professional music artist to keep delaying an answer so I decided look into the matter myself.
I found an article of an interview with Ville quoting him DENYING making the song, let alone even hearing about it until the interviewer asked him.
Quote:
Theres a rumor circulating about Ville being part of the music team for Tim Burtons new film. This the singer denies. I hadnt even heard about that. It would be cool though.
Here's the link to the article if you want to read it for yourself:

What I'd like to know is who started this bogus rumor in the first place.
I thought something was fishy about this rumor from the start since as any true fan of Tim Burton's films should know he ALWAYS uses the same crew of people for his movies. ALWAYS.
Danny Elfman has been the music composer for mainly all of Tim Burton's films. Plus he composes orchestra music so I dunno how Ville, a finnish rock star, would fit in singing a song supposedly written/composed by Elfman ><
I wish these people would at least check their sources first before spreading these crazy rumors that even the celebrity himself wasn't even aware about.
That's all for now~
Until next time, Love and Peace! X(^^)V
